There’s plenty of room for you, the kids and the pups to romp, frolic and explore at this remarkable 10-acre creekside spread.  With more than 1,200 feet of creek frontage just out the back door, you can slip off your shoes, wade into the cool waters of Hemptown Creek and splash around, then throw a couple of fishing lines in the stocked trout stream (rainbow, brown and brook) or our private stocked pond.

Run wild in the meadows, chase butterflies, track deer, turn over rocks and just relax while the melodic sounds of a babbling brook ease your mind.  Spread a blanket out by the creek bank and enjoy a family picnic (or a romantic interlude). There’s great birding here, too.

Only 10 minutes and an easy drive from popular Downtown Blue Ridge, you can relish the privacy and tranquillity of mountain living surrounded by nature’s playground and make some world-class memories.  Watch for fireflies emerging after dusk, and then enjoy some serious stargazing with a vast unobstructed view of the night sky. Reacquaint yourself with the Big Dipper and the North Star. Gather around the campfire and swap stories, and sing songs or just listen to the nocturnal symphony around you.

The casual home features premier bedding, stone wood-burning fireplace, open floor plan, and boho rustic touches.  Guests can also indulge in some first-rate porch sitting/imbibing. The front & rear porches span the length of the cabin, and the screened-in porch serves as an extended dining area– just like the mess hall at summer camp. Propane grill available, and WiFi and TV… in case of rain. Or better yet, if a storm rolls in, sit out on the back porch and listen to the pinging on the metal roof and the rising rumble of the rolling creek. This property is the latest addition to the Kristy Collection, a group of carefully curated distinct properties that offer unique entertainment opportunities.

Great Place to stay.
We stayed a week at the cabin and it was great. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to visit. The best thing was my pups thought they were at Disney World. They had the best time exploring the 10 acres and seeing many deer. We will definitely be back.

Mineral Bluff vacation
My husband, fur babes and I thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and free space. It is just what we hoped for. We will share with friends and return again.

Stay here!
We had a wonderful trip. The property is beautiful- even better than the pictures. The creek out back is so pretty and we enjoyed just sitting by it (too cold to swim in November!). The dogs and kids loved how much space there is to run around. We played frisbee and had a wiffle ball game. We had a fire outside (and inside) each night and made s’mores. The house is perfect- not fancy, but so well done. They even had a cute Christmas tree! Everything you need was there. Kitchen was very well-stocked, extra blankets and pillows were available. We made great memories there and would love to return another time! Would highly recommend this property!
